Akij Resources Limited

Why did we do the AV

Akij Group's roots go back to the 1930s–40s. In 2020, the group formed Akij Resources Limited under Sheikh Jasim Uddin and, under that umbrella, launched Blue Pill Limited—a dedicated enterprise IT and digital-transformation arm led by CEO G.M. Kamrul Hassan. That leaves Blue Pill with a structural problem every enterprise IT startup has: buyers of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and managed IT services default to trusting incumbents, not five-year-old vendors—no matter how good the technology is. The objective was a film that could resolve that trust gap in one move, without pretending the company itself was older than it is.

What the AV was about
The film's structure is the argument, not just the wrapper around it. It opens on a literal decade-by-decade timeline running from the 1930s onward—establishing Akij's founding-era lineage before a single word is said about servers or cybersecurity—then carries that through a generational handoff to Sheikh Jasim Uddin's leadership of Akij Resources Limited, and only then arrives at Blue Pill's CEO delivering the film's actual thesis direct to camera: "Innovation is king—you can turn disruption into opportunity." From there, it moves through Blue Pill's real service pillars—Cognitive Business Operations, Infrastructure Solutions, Modern Workplace Solutions, and Cybersecurity—closing with the brand lockup and domain. The whole film exists to pre-answer one objection: why should I trust a young IT vendor with my infrastructure? Answer, delivered entirely through structure rather than argument: Because it isn't a young vendor—it's an 80-plus-year-old institution's newest specialisation.

The Result
A heroic corporate film that converts Akij Group's nearly a century of institutional history into borrowed credibility for its youngest venture—positioning Blue Pill Limited not as a startup entering enterprise IT but as an established conglomerate's deliberate answer to it.
